CNC Setter Use Your Skills to Help Things Come to Life!
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Tooling & Work-Holding Setup: Using the tool layout sheet as a guide, choose and install the proper chuck jaws, collets, and cutting tools (boring, threading, and turning).
Program Loading and Editing: To improve tool paths or coordinate systems, upload CNC programs (G-Code/M-Code) and make manual modifications at the controller.
First-Off Part Production: Carry out the initial cycle of production while keeping a close eye out for any possible tool collisions or vibrations (chatter).
Dimensional Inspection: Verify all measurements against the blueprint by doing a thorough "First Article Inspection" utilizing thread gauges, bore gauges, and micrometers.
Process Optimization: To enhance surface
polish and extend tool life throughout the production run, modify spindle speeds and feed rates.
Troubleshooting: Identify and fix complicated machining problems such dimensional drifting, poor chip breaking, and tool breakage.
Experience: 3+ yrs
Education: 12th, or Above
