Job Description
Who you are:
Develop multi-axis programs for CNC mills, lathes, and turning centers by utilizing sophisticated CAM software, such as Siemens NX, Mastercam, or SolidCAM. Set up cutting parameters, tool geometries, and work coordinate systems (WCS) by importing 3D models. Reduce tool changes and air-cutting time by analyzing part geometry to identify the most effective order of operations. Designing the necessary cutting tools and creating unique jigs or fixtures can guarantee steady work-holding throughout intricate machining operations. In order to identify and stop tool collisions, gouges, or machine over-travel before the code reaches the shop floor,
run virtual simulations of programs. Set up and diagnose post-processors to make sure the CAM output works flawlessly with particular machine controllers (Haas, Fanuc, Heidenhain).
