Job Description
Operating automated gear to create high-precision metal or plastic components is the responsibility of the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator, a qualified technical specialist. Making sure the machine operates properly and produces parts that precisely fit technical specifications and designs is your main goal. By keeping an eye on the machine's operation and making adjustments in real time to preserve quality, you will close the gap between digital design and actual manufacturing. The ideal applicant is meticulous, at ease with mechanical troubleshooting, and has a solid grasp of industrial safety and measures.
Responsibilities
Machine Setup & Operation: Start the production cycle by loading raw materials into CNC machines.
Reading blueprints: Determine the measurements and tolerances needed for each component by deciphering technical drawings, symbols, and requirements.
Tooling Maintenance: To avoid workpiece damage and preserve a superior finish, keep an eye on tool wear
and replace dull or damaged inserts or drill bits.
G-Code/M-Code Monitoring: Keep an eye on the machine control screen to make sure the program is running properly; modify feed rates and speed as necessary using small offsets.
Preventive Maintenance: To guarantee equipment longevity and avoid malfunctions, undertake daily machine cleaning, lubrication, and coolant level checks.
Deburring and Finishing: Before going on to the next step, carry out additional tasks like polishing completed components or eliminating sharp edges.
Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of using 5-axis machines, CNC mills, and lathes.
Accurate measurement: proficiency with precise instruments.
Mathematical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of algebra and geometry to compute offsets and dimensions.
Stamina & Focus: The capacity to stand for extended periods of time and focus intently while performing repeated, high-precision tasks.
