An expert technician, the ITI Fitter is in charge of assembling, installing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical parts and equipment. In order to guarantee that machine parts fit together precisely, this position requires precise human labor, such as filing, grinding, drilling, and thread cutting. By verifying that all mechanical assemblies
adhere to safety regulations and technical blueprints, the ITI Fitter performs a critical role in the manufacturing line.
Key Skills:
strong familiarity in blueprint reading and technical drawings.
practical experience using measuring devices, power equipment, and hand tools.
proficiency in geometry and basic workshop calculations.
It helps to have a basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding.
