Job Description:
The ITI Fitter is a proficient specialist in charge of assembling, setting up, and maintaining machinery and mechanical components. Your primary mission is to ensure that all mechanical components fit together with precision, using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Your job, whether it be threading, drilling, filing, or marking, is the foundation of the actual production process. The ideal applicant is a "hands-on" professional with a thorough understanding of mechanical
tolerances and metal qualities, as well as the ability to read technical blueprints.
Key Skills:
Manual Dexterity: High level of skill in using hand tools like hacksaws, chisels, hammers, and various types of files.
Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of limit systems and various fit kinds (Clearance, Interference, Transition).
Physical stamina: The capacity to move large objects and stand for extended periods of time in a workshop setting.
Attention to Detail: The capacity to do manual fitting procedures with accuracy down to microns (0.01mm).
Experience: 3 to 6 yrs
