Job Description
Who you are:
For flawless assembly, shape, grind, and finish metal components using power equipment and manual tools including files, chisels, and saws. Determine dimensions, tolerances, and the order of assembly by deciphering intricate engineering drawings and job cards. Before drilling or cutting metal surfaces, use "marking-out" techniques using punches, dividers, and scribers. To make sure parts are within predetermined tolerances, use measuring tools such bevel protractors, micrometers, and Vernier calipers. To make precise holes and internal and exterior threads, operate pillar drilling machines and use manual taps and dies. To guarantee the longevity
of industrial equipment, perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and repairs. When necessary for assembly or repair jobs, use ARC/MIG welding or brazing to complete basic joining procedures.
