Who you are:
Before raw materials and outsourced components are put on the production line, they should be verified using "Golden Samples" and Purchase Order (PO) specifications. To identify flaws early in the manufacturing process, conduct routine "Line Audits" and "First-Off/Last-Off" inspections. For final functional testing, visual inspections, and packaging integrity, conduct 100% or AQL-based sampling. Use and calibrate sophisticated measuring devices such as digital calipers, profile projectors, VMMs, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines). Determine if an item should be reworked, scraped, or returned to the vendor by identifying, labeling,
and quarantining it; oversee the "Red Bin" analysis. To confirm material qualities, do specialist testing such salt spray tests (for coating/plating), tensile strength tests, and hardness tests.
