Job Description
The SolidWorks Design Engineer will create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing components and assemblies. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to translate design concepts into production-ready designs.
Responsibilities
Using SolidWorks software, create 2D drawings and 3D models.
Make thorough assembly and part drawings for the production process.
Create technical documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Work together with the production and manufacturing teams to
guarantee the viability and manufacturability of the design.
Conduct design reviews and make the required changes.
Skills:
strong knowledge of production procedures and mechanical design concepts.
the capacity to decipher engineering specifications and drawings.
understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerance).
familiarity with choosing components and materials.
Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
Experience: 3 to 7 yrs
