Job Description
Who you are:
Perform comprehensive physical inspections of finished goods, in-process components, and raw materials in comparison to technical requirements and drawings. Utilize precision tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and hardness testers to conduct mechanical, chemical, or electrical tests. Use SPC charts to track production trends, spot discrepancies, and stop faults before they happen. Lead the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to ascertain the cause of the failure and identify, record, and separate defective materials (NCMR, or Non-Conformance Material Report). To guarantee complete measurement accuracy, oversee the calibration program for every testing and measuring apparatus. To make sure that operators
are adhering to Quality Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conduct routine audits on the shop floor. Assist the procurement team in assessing and auditing vendors to guarantee the quality of incoming raw materials.
