Job Description
A hands-on technical specialist, the QC Engineer (Quality Control) is in charge of physically inspecting and verifying products at different phases of the production process. "Detection and Control" is your main goal, which is to make sure that only goods that satisfy engineering specifications pass through the production process and are delivered to the consumer. You concentrate on the product, using precise tools and testing techniques to verify conformance, in contrast to QA, which is system-focused. The ideal applicant is a highly honest, meticulous professional who can make decisive "Go/No-Go" choices based on technical standards and facts.

In-Process & Final Inspection: To guarantee compliance with 2D drawings and specifications, thoroughly inspect items both during production and before shipping.
Metrology: Use sophisticated technology like CMMs or vision systems, as well as precise measuring instruments like micrometers, Vernier calipers, and height gauges.
Material Management: To avoid unintentional usage or shipping,

identify, mark, and separate defective products to the "Red Bin" or "Hold" section.
Validation: Conduct functional and destructive/non-destructive tests, such as pressure leak, tensile strength, and hardness tests.
Initial Article Inspection: To confirm that the equipment and procedure are capable of generating a conforming product, carry out and record a new part's initial manufacturing run.
Gauge Calibration: Keep a rigorous calibration diary and make sure all measuring devices are calibrated and traceable to national standards.

Skills:
Blueprint reading: The capacity to decipher GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols and intricate technical drawings.
Technical integrity: the capacity to reject inferior products with objectivity and firmness.
Problem Solving: Useful understanding of "5-Why" analysis to help production address pressing quality problems.
