Job Description
Duties:
Installation and Commissioning: Install interior and outdoor units, making sure they are positioned correctly for the best airflow, and connect electrical and refrigerant pipes.
Preventative Maintenance: To prolong the life of your equipment, do routine maintenance such as filter cleaning, coil washing, gas pressure checks, and lubricating moving parts.
Diagnostic Troubleshooting: To find problems such compressor failure, sensor malfunctions, or refrigerant leakage, use manifold gauges, multimeters, and leak detectors.
Refrigerant Management: Follow safety and environmental guidelines when performing vacuuming, gas charging (R32, R410A, R22), and refrigerant recovery.
Drainage Management: To stop water leaks
and the growth of mold, check and clean condensate drain pipes.
Inspection of Ductwork: (For Centralized Systems) To guarantee balanced air distribution, examine, clean, and fix air ducts and dampers.
Focus Skills:
Technical expertise: The ability to operate HVAC equipment, such as vacuum pumps, flaring tools, and welding/brazing torches.
Electrical Knowledge: The capacity to troubleshoot electrical control systems and read circuit diagrams.
Physical fitness: the capacity to move large objects, operate at heights, and crawl into confined spaces.
Safety Awareness: Detailed knowledge of electrical safety regulations and high-pressure gases.
