Be a Utility Engineer on Our Injection Moulding Squad
Job Description
Duties:
Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the preventative and repair maintenance of vital utility equipment, such as water pump houses, reciprocating/screw compressors, and centralized chilling units.
Cooling System Management: To guarantee accurate temperature management, which is essential for cycle time optimization and high-quality plastic part cooling, keep an eye on and maintain cooling towers and heat exchangers.
Infrastructure: To guarantee a steady power supply and reduce energy losses, supervise the plant's HT/LT power distribution, which includes transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and APFC panels.
Pneumatic and Hydraulic Lines: To avoid pressure drops and resource waste, maintain the shop floor's network of compressed air and water pipes by finding and repairing leaks.
Energy Management: Monitor daily water and
energy usage; find ways to save utility bills through "Green" projects such installing VFDs or heat recovery systems.
Focus Skills:
Technical Versatility: Excellent understanding of compressed air technologies, industrial refrigeration, and HVAC systems.
Electrical Proficiency: The capacity to decipher intricate electrical SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and troubleshoot PLC logic and control panels.
Problem-Solving: The capacity to prepare for "Permanent-Fix" solutions while making "Quick-Fix" fixes under time constraints.
Preventive Mindset: A methodical approach to carrying out PM (Preventive Maintenance) plans in order to prevent unscheduled downtime.
Analytical Tools: Knowledge of MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) tracking and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
