Responsibilities:
QMS Strategy & Compliance: Take the lead in creating, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System. Serve as the main point of contact for all customer and external audits.
Quality Assurance & Control: Manage the QA (process-oriented) and QC (product-oriented) divisions, making sure that the facility has strong inspection plans and testing procedures in place.
Cost of Quality (COQ) Management: Monitor and assess the financial effects of quality with an emphasis on lowering "Cost of Poor Quality" (COPQ), which includes warranty claims, rework, and scrap.
Customer
Relationship Management: Oversee the implementation of long-term corrective measures and handle customer quality problems, guaranteeing prompt replies through 8D reports.
Continuous Improvement: To lower process variation and improve product reliability, implement Lean and Six Sigma techniques throughout the facility.
Required Skills:
Strategic Leadership: The capacity to motivate cross-functional teams and promote a "Quality-First" mentality throughout the whole organization.
Statistical Mastery: Proficiency in Six Sigma tools, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Regulatory expertise: in-depth knowledge of environmental compliance and industry-specific requirements.
Communication: Outstanding capacity to communicate complex, high-quality facts to external stakeholders and senior leadership.
Experience: 5 to 8 yrs
