Job Description
Duties:
Circuit Design: Use EDA tools to create schematic designs for both analog and digital circuits.
PCB Layout: Create multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) with appropriate component routing, positioning, and thermal control.
Testing and Prototyping: Construct working prototypes and conduct thorough testing with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
Embedded Programming: To regulate hardware behavior, write and debug low-level firmware for microcontrollers in C/C++.
Component Selection: Determine and procure electronic components according to lifetime availability, cost, and performance requirements.
EMI/EMC Compliance: Make sure the product passes regulatory certifications by designing for electromagnetic interference and compatibility.
/>Failure Analysis: To increase reliability, apply design modifications and conduct root cause analysis on malfunctioning electronic assemblies.
Documentation: Produce thorough technical documentation, such as test reports, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Focus Skills:
Hardware Mastery: Skilled with PCB design software and circuit simulation (LTSpice/PSpice).
Knowledge of microcontrollers: familiarity with USB, SPI, UART, and I2C protocols.
Expert soldering abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot intricate hardware-software interactions are essential for troubleshooting.
Analytical Thinking: The capacity to reduce complicated system specifications to modular electronic designs.
