ARC Welder Providing Power to Any Structure
Job Description
Experience: 3+ yrs
Salary: Based on Previous Experience
Education: Any ITI Graduation
Duties:
Welding Methods: Arc welding can be done manually or semi-automatically.
Position Welding: As needed by the project, perform welds in a variety of positions.
Blueprint Reading: Determine the necessary weld size, position, and type by interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Material Preparation: To guarantee correct fit and penetration,
clean, grind, and bevel metal workpieces using hand tools or flame-cutting equipment.
Clamping and Fixturing: Before executing the final weld, align and secure components using clamps, jigs, or tack welds.
Testing: To guarantee structural integrity, work with the quality team to conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using dye penetrant or ultrasonic testing.
Post-Weld Cleaning: To get a clean finish, use wire brushes or grinders to remove extra slag and splatter.
