Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Manual Welding: Use consumable flux-coated electrodes to fuse metal segments using manual welding equipment.
Metal Preparation: To guarantee deep penetration and clean weld beads, clean, bevel, and prepare joints using grinders, wire brushes, and torches.
Blueprints & Symbols: To ascertain particular weld needs and layouts, interpret technical drawings and welding blueprints.
Electrode Selection: Depending on the type of metal, thickness, and necessary joint strength, choose the right electrode.
Weld Inspection: Examine completed welds visually to find flaws like porosity, undercut, or slag inclusions.
Machine Calibration: To match the material and electrode being used,
set and modify the welding current and polarity.
Safety and PPE: Keep your workspace secure and wear specific ARC welding PPE, such as heavy-duty gloves, leather aprons, and high-shade welding helmets.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Any ITI Graduation
