ARC Welder Achievement in the Core Engineering Area
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation: Use grinders, wire brushes, or chisels to clean and prepare metal workpieces by removing rust, scale, and slag; bevel edges for deep penetration welding.
Equipment calibration involves setting up welding machines and choosing the right current (AC or DC) and amperage according to the type of electrode and thickness of the metal.
Electrode Selection: Depending on the material's characteristics and the necessary weld strength, select the appropriate welding rods.
Welding Execution: To fuse metal joints in various situations and guarantee consistent bead shape and penetration, strike and sustain a steady electric arc.
Joint Fit-up: To guarantee that the finished assembly satisfies
blueprint requirements, align components using clamps, levels, and square tools.
Blueprint Reading: Determine the location, kind, and size of the necessary welds by interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Any ITI Graduation
