Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) procedures are used by the MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welder to fuse metal components together. Reading plans, assembling welding equipment, and making sure all welds adhere to structural integrity and aesthetic criteria are all part of this job. Working mostly with steel, aluminum, or stainless steel, the MIG welder
is in charge of creating high-quality parts for a range of industrial uses while upholding a secure and effective work environment.
Key Skills:
a track record of success as a MIG welder or in a related position.
the capacity to read and decipher weld symbols and mechanical drawings.
understanding of various metal characteristics and welding gasses.
