Job Description
Relational database design, implementation, and optimization are the responsibilities of the SQL Developer, a data architecture professional. Your key goal is to make sure that data is securely stored, retrieved promptly, and maintained uniformly throughout the company. By creating sophisticated queries, stored procedures, and overseeing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations, you will bridge the gap between intricate business requirements and technological database solutions. The ideal applicant is a professional with a strong sense of logic who considers data integrity to be a top priority and approaches performance tuning as an art form.
Key Duties:
Database Design: In order to reduce redundancy, create and manage intricate database schemas that include tables, views, and indexes while making sure that they are properly normalized.
/>Advanced Scripting: To support application logic, create sophisticated CTEs (Common Table Expressions), stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Performance tuning: To lower server load and latency, examine and improve slow-running queries using Execution Plans and Index Tuning Wizards.
Data integration and ETL: Use tools like Informatica, Talend, or SSIS to create and oversee ETL pipelines that transfer and change data between various systems.
Data Integrity & Security: Use encryption methods, keys, and constraints to safeguard private information and guarantee referential integrity throughout the system.
Reporting & Analytics: Create and manage intricate reports with Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS, converting unprocessed data into useful business insights.
