Data Analyst for Global Business insight
Job Description
The job of the data analyst is to transform unprocessed data into insights that may be used to inform strategic business choices. Gathering data from multiple sources, organizing and cleaning it, and applying statistical methods to spot trends, patterns, and abnormalities are all part of your job. As the organization's "storyteller," you will translate complicated datasets into understandable, visually appealing reports for stakeholders. The perfect applicant is an inquisitive problem-solver with a solid foundation in mathematics, expertise in Python/R and SQL, and a knack for producing powerful data visualizations.
Key Duties:
Data Integration and Collection: Compile information from both primary and secondary sources and keep up-to-date integrated data systems.
Finding, evaluating, and interpreting trends or patterns in intricate
data sets is the goal of data cleaning and preprocessing. Use "data munging" to address coding mistakes and associated issues.
Statistical Analysis: Analyze data sets using statistical tools, paying close attention to trends and patterns that may offer important information for prediction and diagnosis.
Visualization & Reporting: To convey findings to management, create and update dashboards and reports using programs like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Cooperation: Establish new opportunities for process improvement and prioritize business and information needs in close coordination with the management and IT teams.
PredictiveModeling: Using machine learning libraries, help construct fundamental predictive models to foresee trends and consumer behavior.
