Job Description
To join our data management team in Chennai, we are looking for a qualified and experienced SQL Developer. In order to support our business intelligence and application development needs, you will be in charge of creating, implementing, maintaining, and designing databases and SQL queries.
Responsibilities
Create, implement, and manage SQL databases and schemas specifically suited to our data requirements and applications in Chennai.
Work together with Chennai's application development teams to integrate SQL with applications and create effective database architecture.
Provide support for database updates and migrations as needed by our Chennai IT infrastructure.
Keep abreast
of database technology, SQL features, and best practices that are pertinent to the Indian tech scene.
Assure consistency and quality of data across databases.
Skills:
knowledge of database design techniques, normalisation, and indexing.
familiarity with at least one of the relational database management systems (RDBMS) that are widely used in Chennai, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
understanding of database performance optimisation and optimisation techniques.
knowledge of data modelling software.
Educational Qualification: Any Degree related to IT
Experience: 3+ yrs
