Developing stored procedures that run business-critical applications, writing optimal queries, and designing effective database architectures are all part of your job. The ideal applicant is a logic-driven professional who is passionate about query optimization, has a thorough understanding of database normalization, and is proficient in T-SQL or PL/SQL.
Key Duties:
Database Design: Create and manage physical and logical data models to guarantee correct normalization and effective data storage.
Query Development: To retrieve data
for application front-ends and reporting tools, write sophisticated joins, views, and high-performance SQL queries.
Stored Procedures & Triggers: To automate data processing and enforce business rules, create and implement strong backend logic using Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers.
Performance Tuning: Identify and address performance bottlenecks by examining Execution Plans, optimizing indexes, and redesigning "expensive" queries.
ETL Processes: Using technologies like SSIS or Talend, create and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows to transfer data between different systems.
Data Security: To safeguard sensitive data and guarantee regulatory compliance, implement and maintain user access restrictions, permissions, and encryption.
