Job Description
Primary Task: In order to guarantee the quality, functionality, and dependability of our software applications, we must design, create, implement, and manage automated test scripts. This will help our Chennai team maintain a reliable and effective testing procedure.
Responsibilities
Identify suitable test cases for automation based on risk, complexity, and business impact.
Design, develop, and maintain robust and reusable automated test scripts using chosen automation tools and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
Implement best practices and coding standards for test automation.
Evaluate and integrate new automation tools and technologies as needed.
Analyze test failures and work closely with developers to understand and resolve defects.
Analyze test
automation metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Required Abilities:
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language used for test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
Hands-on experience with one or more popular test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, Postman).
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
