Wanted! Jr Civil Design Engineer in MEPS
Job Description
What you do:
Site Development: Make comprehensive plans for paving, storm-water management, soil erosion control, and site grading.
Utility Infrastructure: Create plans for subterranean utilities such as drainage, sanitary sewers, and water distribution.
Clash Detection: To find and fix "clashes" between MEP building services and civil utilities, use Navisworks or comparable BIM software.
Alignment Across Disciplines: To guarantee that site-to-building transitions are precisely coordinated, work with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers.
Regulatory Approval: Verify that every design
complies with ADA requirements, municipal rules, and environmental regulations.
Permitting: Help with the preparation of paperwork for utility provider and municipal permits.
BIM Coordination: Update models in response to project modifications by taking part in BIM coordination sessions.
Site Visits: Make sporadic site visits to confirm current circumstances and make sure construction is in line with the intended plan.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Diploma/BE in Civil
