Job Title: Purchase Head
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the purchase department to achieve organizational goals.
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and policies.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for the best terms.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.
Collaborate with production, finance, and other departments to align purchasing needs.
Maintain vendor relationships and assess supplier performance regularly.
Ensure compliance with company standards, contracts, and quality requirements.
Analyze market trends to identify potential opportunities and risks.
Prepare and manage purchase budgets,
cost reports, and procurement documentation.
Lead and guide a team of purchase executives for smooth workflow.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in procurement or purchase management, preferably in manufacturing/industrial sectors.
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and leadership skills.
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement software.
Good communication and decision-making abilities.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and achieve cost savings for the organization.
