Job Description:
The Diesel Generator (DG) Operator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of diesel-powered generators to provide continuous backup power during outages. Duties include starting, monitoring, and shutting down generators, performing routine checks on fuel, oil, and coolant levels, inspecting for faults, and carrying out minor repairs when required. The DG Operator keeps detailed logs of operating hours,
maintenance activities, and performance reports, while coordinating with technical teams for preventive and corrective servicing. This role is essential for maintaining a reliable and efficient power backup system in industrial, commercial, or residential facilities.
Location: Chennai
Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
Experience: 0 to 2 years
