Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Machine Setup & Fixturing: Use dial indications to install and position custom jigs, modular fixtures, or vices on the VMC table, making sure they are 100% parallel and perpendicular.
Work and Tool Offsets: Use touch probes or manual "paper-touch" techniques to measure the length and diameter offsets of the tools and define precise Work Coordinate Systems (G54-G59).
Program Verification: To look for any tool collisions with fixtures or the machine table, dry-run the G-code program at low feed rates.
First-Off Part Production: Make sure the first part of a new batch satisfies blueprint requirements by running it through a thorough dimensional examination.
/>Process Optimization: To reduce tool chatter and enhance the quality of the surface finish, adjust spindle speeds and feed rates during the first run.
Experience: 3 to 5 yrs
Education: 10th, 12th or Above
