In order to maximise the lifespan of crucial injection moulds, minimise cycle times, and optimise plastic component integrity, the Senior Tool Design Engineer's function is developing into a crucial technical authority that uses Moldflow analysis, rapid tooling techniques, and sophisticated hot runner systems.
Desired Outcomes:
Using cutting-edge CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo), you will be in charge of overseeing the design, development, and validation
of intricate injection moulds. It will be essential that you have experience in Moldflow/FEA simulation, applying advanced GD&T to mould components, designing and integrating hot runner systems, and conducting DFM reviews. You will work closely with the moulding floor and tooling vendors to troubleshoot important issues, mentor junior designers, and spearhead standardisation efforts to lower mould maintenance and boost overall moulding efficiency.
Experience: 5 to 8 yrs
