Job Description
Accurate records must be entered, updated, and maintained in the organization's digital databases and systems by the data entry executive. Because the data supplied is the foundation for business reports, inventory management, and customer records, this position demands a high degree of speed and accuracy. The ideal applicant maintains a consistent output while abiding by stringent confidentiality and security procedures, has an eye for detail, and can spot inconsistencies in source documents.
Responsibilities
Data Input: Correctly insert data into the organization's ERP, CRM, or specialist database systems from a variety of source documents.
Verification and Validation: Before submitting the data, cross-check it with the original documents to make sure it is accurate and to find any errors or missing information.
Database maintenance: Update current records with the
most recent data.
Data cleaning involves finding and eliminating duplicate items, fixing spelling errors, and making sure the data is formatted consistently.
Reporting: When department heads want it, create simple reports from the database for study or auditing.
Document scanning and archiving is the process of digitizing hard copy documents and arranging them logically in folders so they may be easily retrieved.
Confidentiality: Make sure that private information is managed safely and in accordance with data privacy regulations.
Skills:
high typing speed with accuracy of at least 95%.
expertise with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to identify subtle differences.
knowledge of office equipment, including printers and scanners.
