Job Description
Duties:
Data Transcription & Input: Fill in the relevant fields in the CRM, ERP, or spreadsheet program using alphabetical, numeric, or symbolic data from the source documents.
Verification & Cleaning: To ensure the highest degree of data "hygiene" and accuracy, compare data with source documents to identify and fix problems.
Information Organization: Make sure that both digital and physical records are properly indexed for convenient retrieval by scanning, sorting, and filing documents as needed.
Database maintenance: To avoid data loss, update current information, remove duplicate entries, and make regular backups.
Confidentiality & Security: To safeguard sensitive
client and business data, closely follow non-disclosure agreements and data privacy rules.
Reporting: To help management make decisions, create simple reports and summaries using the data that has been entered.
Focus Skills:
Typing Speed: At least 40–50 words per minute (WPM) of touch typing proficiency.
The capacity to identify subtle differences in huge data sets.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Data Validation), and fundamental CRM/ERP navigation.
Numerical Ability: The ability to enter 10-key numbers on a keypad for statistical or financial data.
