Charge Entry Executive Every Clean Payment Base
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Data Transformation: Examine "Superbills" or patient encounter forms, then input the information including CPT and ICD-10 codes into the billing system.
Provider & Facility Matching: Give each charge the appropriate "Rendering Provider," "Referring Physician," and "Place of Service" (POS) codes.
QualityCheck & Scrubbing: Before sending a claim to the insurance payer, run it through "claim scrubber" software to find and fix front-end mistakes.
Modifier Application: To guarantee maximum reimbursement and compliance, apply the proper billing modifiers as recommended by the coding team.
Batch balancing: To make sure the overall number of encounters and total dollar amount match
the source documents, create and balance daily batches of entered charges.
Denial Prevention: Point out any inconsistencies or missing information in the encounter forms to the coding or clinical teams.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Any Basic Degree
