In order to go beyond basic data entry and concentrate on real-time financial analysis, cost control, and commercial partnerships, the accounting function is deliberately moving towards using technology (ERP systems, FinTech automation). Accounts executives that are skilled in transactional accounting, excel in accurate financial reporting, and have the analytical abilities to deliver timely insights that support executive decision-making will be in high demand in the future. Our goal is to become a company that is motivated by transparent data and financial rigour.
What you will do:
overseeing the cycles of accounts payable (AP) and
accounts receivable (AR), making sure that invoices are processed accurately, vendors are paid on schedule, and outstanding customer amounts are efficiently collected.
completing journal entries, ledger postings, and bank reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis to guarantee the General Ledger (GL) is correct and current.
doing basic variance analysis and helping to prepare monthly financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
handling petty cash, processing employee expenditure reports, and assisting with inventory assessment as needed.
