Engaging Accountants to Advocate Financial Integrity
Job Description
Duties:
General Ledger Management: Make sure all accounts are balanced and adjusted at the conclusion of each period by maintaining and reconciling the general ledger.
Financial Reporting: Create precise cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets as well as quarterly and annual financial statements.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage client billing and aging reports to maximize cash flow, and supervise the processing of vendor invoices and payments.
Bank Reconciliation: To find and fix inconsistencies right away, regularly compare bank statements to corporate ledgers.
Taxation and Compliance: Make sure that statutory returns (such as income tax, GST, and TDS) are filed on time, and keep abreast of modifications to both local and federal tax regulations.
Forecasting and Budgeting: Help create yearly budgets and keep an eye on differences between actual and budgeted spending.
Audit
Coordination: Make sure all financial records are audit-ready and in compliance with GAAP/IFRS by creating schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
Internal Controls: To stop fraud and guarantee data security, establish and uphold strong internal control protocols.
Focus Skills:
Mathematical Precision: Outstanding numeracy abilities that enable error-free handling of intricate computations.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency with complex Microsoft Excel features (such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) and accounting software (such as Tally, SAP, and QuickBooks).
The capacity to identify subtle discrepancies in huge datasets that can point to fraud or financial irregularities.
Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyze financial trends and make recommendations to management that are supported by evidence.
