Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & General Ledger: Keep current accounting records in the ERP or accounting software and record daily financial transactions.
Accounts Payable: Maintain positive vendor relationships by processing vendor invoices, confirming approvals, and making sure payments are made on schedule.
Accounts Receivable: To ensure consistent cash flow, keep an eye on customer aging reports, send out invoices, and follow up on unpaid invoices.
Statutory Compliance: Make sure local rules are followed while calculating and filing periodic tax returns, including GST, TDS, and Professional
Tax.
Financial Reporting: Help senior management prepare the cash flow, balance sheet, and profit and loss (P&L) account.
Audit Support: To guarantee a seamless audit process, prepare the required paperwork and schedules for both internal and external audits.
Expense Management includes handling petty cash accounts and confirming and processing employee reimbursement claims.
Required Skills:
Accounting Principles: A solid understanding of IFRS or GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Software Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and a thorough understanding of TallyPrime, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
Analytical Skills: The capacity to spot disparities in financial data and fix accounting mistakes.
Integrity: A high standard of morality and discretion when managing private financial data.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
