Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Data Entry: Use the accounting software to keep precise and current records of all financial transactions, including expenses, receipts, and invoices.
Accounts Payable (AP): Verify approvals, process vendor bills, and plan payments while making sure credit terms are followed.
Accounts Receivable (AR): To keep a healthy cash flow, create client invoices, monitor aging reports, and pursue past-due payments.
Bank Reconciliation: To find and fix inconsistencies, regularly reconcile bank statements with
the general ledger.
Taxation & Compliance: Help prepare and file statutory returns, including income tax, GST, and TDS; make sure all paperwork is prepared for audits.
Payroll Processing: Work with HR to arrange for the processing of monthly payroll, which includes deductions for professional tax, provident funds, and other benefits.
Required Skills:
Accounting Principles: A solid understanding of IFRS or GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Software Proficiency: Practical knowledge of accounting ERPs like TallyPrime, SAP, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
Excellent data entry accuracy and the capacity to identify even the smallest numerical errors.
Excel Mastery: Advanced proficiency with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and financial formatting in Microsoft Excel.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
