Job Description:
An essential part of the finance team, the accounts executive is in charge of keeping correct financial records and guaranteeing the integrity of the business's daily operations. Managing the cycles of accounts payable and receivable, doing bank reconciliations, and helping to close the monthly and annual books on time are your main responsibilities. As the guardian of financial data, you make sure that each entry complies with tax laws and accounting standards. A meticulous professional with a "zero-error" mentality and a thorough understanding of general ledger accounting is the perfect applicant.
Key Duties
Bookkeeping and Data Entry: Use the accounting software to keep accurate and current records of all financial transactions, including costs, invoices,
and receipts.
Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor bills, confirm approvals, and arrange payments while making sure credit terms are followed.
Accounts Receivable (AR): To maintain a healthy cash flow, create client bills, monitor aging reports, and pursue past-due payments.
Bank Reconciliation: To find and fix inconsistencies, regularly compare bank statements to the general ledger.
Taxation & Compliance: Help prepare and file statutory returns, such as income tax, GST, and TDS; make sure all paperwork is prepared for audits.
Payroll Processing: Work with HR to arrange for the processing of monthly payroll, which includes professional tax, provident fund, and other benefit deductions.
