Job Description:
The accountant is in charge of creating financial reports, conducting audits, and keeping correct financial records. Managing the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and making sure that all financial transactions adhere to local tax laws and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) are all part of this job. The ideal applicant is meticulous, highly analytical, and has the integrity needed to manage private financial information while promoting the organization's financial stability.
Key Duties:
Keep track of all daily transactions, including accruals, income, and expenses, in the general ledger.
Oversee the entire A/P and A/R cycle, guaranteeing prompt processing and reconciliation.
/>To make sure system balances match bank statements, do monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Assure adherence to legal requirements when preparing and filing regular tax returns.
Help create monthly cash flow, balance sheet, and profit and loss statements for management to analyze.
Create the schedules and paperwork required for internal and external audits.
Keep tabs on departmental expenditures in relation to authorized budgets and notify upper management of any notable deviations.
Work with HR to process monthly payroll, taking into account statutory contributions, bonuses, and deductions.
