Full Description

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Mechanical Engineer for our innovative, cutting edge manufacturing client, located near Hudson, MA.

Responsible for supporting the mechanical design, development and production of phased array antennas, supporting structures, power and cooling sub-systems. Serve as a technical contact on assigned projects. Provide support for the factory and supplier domestically and internationally. Work as part of or lead a small engineering team, participate in design reviews and solve complex technical problems while developing new hardware.

Must be able to use state-of the-art tools, processes, technology, and Six Sigma principles. Must be able to solve complex mechanical engineering design problems. Strong communication (verbal and written), multi-tasking, analytical design and drawing skills (ProEngineer is preferred) are required. Working knowledge of military radar systems and commercial designs and

understanding of the product development lifecycle.

Experience with technical and cost proposal development, managing cost and schedule requirements, technical risk management and electro-mechanical packaging.

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related science degree is required. Master’s degree is preferred. Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent. Minimum of four years of mechanical engineering design experience with electronic packaging, antenna or pedestal design.
