Engage in a rewarding career as a Special Education Teacher, where your primary responsibilities include teaching student groups, creating individualized lesson plans, and meeting diverse learning requirements. Collaborate with parents and support staff to monitor student progress, adapt learning materials, and create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Keep a vigilant eye on students' behavioral patterns, intervene as needed, and ensure smooth
transitions to the next grade. Mentor fellow professionals working with children with disabilities and collaborate seamlessly with support staff. Additional duties related to the program are integral to this role.
Requirements:
Valid California Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Education Specialist License.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
Master’s degree preferred.
Salary: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour
