About the Job:
As a Lao Transcriber, you will play a crucial role in transcribing speeches or recordings in the Lao language into text documents. This involves listening to audio or video files of various lengths with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. You will work closely with our team to ensure that transcription tasks are completed according to specific guidelines and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Listen to audio or video files in Lao and transcribe them into written text documents.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and meet deadlines for transcription tasks.
- Classify and label data according to defined criteria.
- Work full-time or part-time hours at our secure facility in Mississauga, Ontario.
- Demonstrate fluency in both spoken and written Lao, as well as proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Uphold a professional
attitude and adhere to confidentiality requirements due to the sensitive nature of the information being transcribed.
- Pass background checks as required by the client and comply with safety and security protocols, including those related to COVID-19.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Lao/Laotian language.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to work full-time or part-time hours at our facility in Mississauga, Ontario.
- Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Work Conditions:
- Contract length: 45 days.
- Work from our office in Mississauga, Ontario.
- Full-time (40 Hours per Week) or Part-time (20 Hours Per Week) with a flexible working schedule.
